Aaliyah Dana Haaughton gained fame after releasing her first album Age Ain't Nothing but a Number in 1994. The singer was only 15 at when the album was released and it became Gold. The collaboration that influenced R. Kelly's music, brought her into the spotlight. In 1996, she debuted her sophomore album One In A Million with Jermaine dupri and Timbaland. It contained the number one hit track If Your Girl Only had known. Aaliyah achieved international recognition for her R&B songs on the album. In 2000 she starred in the romance and action film Romeo Must Die alongside martial arts legend Jet-Li. Joel Silver, the film producer, met her at the awards ceremony and kindly offered her the part. In 2002 she had the opportunity to play the horror film Queen of the Damned which was inspired by Anne Rice's Anne Rice novel. The Matrix Sequels was her first appearance in The Matrix Sequels. She was also on The Matrix Reloaded (2003) and The Matrix Revolutions (2007). In 2001, 1999, 2002, and 2003 she was nominated to win four Grammy Awards. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. The actress is Indian American of the one generation who was who was born in Connecticut. Mann is the abbreviation used for her husband's first name Mankad. She uses Aarti Mann and Aarti Majumdar for professional names. The acting career of her began in the mid 2000's, with a few appearances on television and in films. Alongside The Big Bang Theory, her notable other works include Leverage (2013) Suits (2014) and Grey's Anatomy (2017.) She's also appeared in major commercials featuring brands like Volvo which is an international automobile manufacturer. Her home is with her family in Los Angeles with her husband and daughter and is continuing to develop her acting career.
