Aaliyah Haughton became famous in 1994 when she released her debut album Age Ain't Nothing but an amount. At the age of 15, the album achieved Gold recognition. It was made as a collaboration that was highly in the style of R. Kelly and it placed her in the limelight. In 1996, she debuted her second album One In A Million with Jermaine dupri and Timbaland. The album contained the hit number one track If Your Girl only knew. After the release of this work Aaliyah received international recognition for her performance as an R&B performer. She was a part of the romance and action film Romeo Must Die alongside martial arts legend Jet-Li. Joel Silver, the film producer, saw her at the awards ceremony and kindly offered her this part. In 2002, she was part of the film vampire Queen of the Damned based on the Anne Rice book. The Matrix Sequels followed, which featured Zee as the lead character. The year 1999, 2001 2002 and 2003, she was nominated to win four Grammy awards. Aarti Mann is the first generation Indian-American who was born and raised in Connecticut. Mann is her stage name. Mann is an abbreviation of her married name Mankad. Aarti is the combination of Aarti and Aarti. Majumdar. While she started out by playing minor film and television performances, her acting career picked up speed in the late 2000s. Other notable works she has done are Leverage 2012, Suits 2013, and Grey's Anatomy 2017. She has appeared in numerous commercials for Volvo's international automobile manufacturer. Her acting career continues with her home in Los Angeles, where she lives with her daughter and husband.
