Aaliyah Haughton became famous after 1994 when she debuted her debut album Age Ain't nothing but the number. It was Gold at the age of just 15 years old. The collaboration was strongly inspired by R. Kelly, and helped put her in the spotlight. In 1996 Jermaine and Timbaland made Aaliyah's album One In A Million. The album contained the single If Your Girls Only Knew the top-selling single. Aaliyah became a household name as an R&B performer with their release of the second album One In A Million. The year 2000 saw her co-starred with the famous martial arts star Jet Li for the film Romeo Must Die. Her role came about after being spotted by film producer Joel Silver at an awards ceremony. She was cast in the Anne Rice-based vampire film Queen of the Damned, which premiered in 2002. Mann employs Aarti Man as well as Aarti Mahumdar for her official name. While her initial professional career was mostly dominated by small television and film parts, she gained recognition in the latter half of 2000s. In addition, she has appeared on Leverage, Suits, Grey's Anatomy and Grey's Anatomy. In addition, she was a part of several commercials including Volvo as well as other major auto brand names. Her acting career continues with her home in Los Angeles, where she lives with her son and husband.
