Aaliyah Haughton became famous in 1994 when she released her first album Age Ain't nothing but an amount. It was Gold in the year she turned 15 years old. The group was strongly in the style of R. Kelly, and put the singer onto the scene. In 1996 Jermaine and Timbaland came out with Aaliyah's sophomore album One In A Million. The album contained the single If You Girls Only Knew the top-selling single. Following the release of this work Aaliyah received international recognition for her performance as an R&B artist. In 2000, she starred alongside the martial arts icon Jet Li for the film Romeo Must Die. Joel Silver spotted her in an award show. The year 2002 was the time she appeared as involved in the Anne Rice-produced thriller Queen of the Damned. She also was on screen in The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions. She was awarded four Grammy nominations in 1999 and 2003. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. She is an Indian-American of one generation who was who was born in Connecticut. Mann is her stage name. Mann is derived from her marriage name Mankad. Aarti Magnumdar is her formal name, but she is also known as Aarti Magumdar for her stage name. While her initial career was dominated by minor television and film roles, she gained more prominence in the mid-2000s. Apart from The Big Bang Theory her most notable work includes Leverage (2012) Suits (2013) and Grey's Anatomy (2017). The actress has been featured in advertisements for major brands like international car manufacturer Volvo. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and daughter. She will continue to pursue an acting career.
