Aaliyah Dana Haaughton soared to prominence after the release of the album she dubbed Age Ain't Nothing More Than A Number in the year 1994. In the age group of 15, the album achieved Gold status. The actress is the very first generation of Indian-American born and raised in Connecticut. Mann is an abbreviation of her husband's first name Mankad. She uses Aarti Mann as well as Aarti Majumdar for her professional name. She started her acting career as a minor actor in TV and film performances, but her fame grew during the middle 2000s. The actress has also been featured in Leverage, Suits, Grey's Anatomy as well as Grey's Anatomy. The actress has been featured in commercials of major brands such as international automobile manufacturer Volvo. The mother of her daughter resides in Los Angeles and is pursuing her acting.
