Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine, a singer-composer famous for his distinct mix of soul gospel jazz R&B and R&B. The singer has worked everywhere from Broadway through The Democratic National Convention to the European scene of clubs and festivals. Sunshine can be described as Denise White. She is now a resident of Atlanta her birthplace was Chester Pennsylvania. Her musical journey began in the church, where she sang and played piano. Her musical career began in Atlanta in Spellman College. The Fighting Temptations The first single to feature her vocals was Stalk You a house 12 issued only in Japan and has since been remixed by many producers and remains the mainstay in her live show. The voice of hers was featured on the soundtrack of The Fighting Temptations. She was the main pianist for Tyler Perry's stage production Meet the Browns. In 2007, Grammy as well as Tony Awards-winning vocalist Jennifer Holliday sought her out to serve as the director of the choir for the stage production of Dreamgirls during the National Black Arts Festival in Atlanta. Sunshine rose to prominence throughout the four performances during the The 2008 Democratic National Convention. Sunshine was later invited to sing during the 2009 Obama Inauguration.
