Allison Raskin Bio

Allison Beth Raskin (born April 15th, 1977) is an American writer, director, comedian and podcaster. She also advocates for mental health. Her previous job for BuzzFeed Video was that of a writer. But in 2015 she resigned to join fellow writer Gabe Dunn on their Just Between Us comedy YouTube channel. Raskin was born on June 20th, 1989 in Manhattan, New York, to Jewish parentage. She completed a Bachelor in Fine Arts at the University of Southern California. Jamin Ben Raskin (born December 13, 1962) is a American attorney law professor as well as a politician who has been an official U.S. representative for Maryland's 8th congressional district as of 2017. A law professor served as the prosecutor-in-chief for President the 2nd impeachment trial of Trump. Rep. Jamie Raskin is not running for Maryland Senate's open seat however, he will be running in the House to keep his position as the chair of House Oversight and Accountability Committee. Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Potomac and other wealthy suburbs within areas like the Washington, D.C. area are part of the district. The district is also home to many other multi-cultural and economically driven areas. Rockville and Silver Spring are the two most populous. Maryland is an independent state in America. The first of the 13 states it lies at the center of the Eastern Seaboard amid the great urban and commercial complex stretching from Maine to Virginia.
